Grappling with the Question of China

The Western world is transfixed by the question of China. How is China navigating the difficult political and technological problems of the twenty-first century? What is life really like in China? What does the challenge of the Chinese model mean for the future of American prosperity, and the American way of life?

In October 2025, Parnassus House ran a two-part series investigating these questions with Carl Mitcham, Professor Emeritus at Colorado School of Mines and Visiting International Professor of Philosophy of Technology at Renmin University of China.
